About Litsa

In today’s fast-paced world, genuine listening has become a rare gift. Litsa offers that gift creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported. She is able to provide both individual and couples counselling.

Litsa combines deep compassion and respect for others with advanced clinical training. She holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University and integrates a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Her work is grounded in the principles of person-centred therapy—authenticity, empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.

With nearly three decades of experience in helping professions—first as a lawyer and now as a counsellor—Litsa brings maturity, insight, and a rich understanding of human complexity. She has worked with a wide range of clients: refugees, immigrants, teenagers, professionals, parents, people going through divorce, people from many different cultures and religions, neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTIQA+ community. Her inclusive practice welcomes people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds.

Litsa has a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing burnout, stress, and chronic illness. Litsa lives with Diffuse Scleroderma, a rare autoimmune condition, she brings personal insight and sensitivity to the challenges of chronic health conditions. Her approach is compassionate and insightful, extending care not only to those living with illness but also to their loved ones and carers.
